Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) is better known under her real moniker Ari Lennox is an American artist and singer hailing who hails from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist affiliated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. Her debut EP Pho, released was released on the 21st of October, 2016 and was released by Dreamville Records. She began to gain notoriety. Shea Butter Baby released her first studio album on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox first posted songs online in the year 2012. The singer released her debut album Ariography as well as her debut mixtape in 2013, Five Finger Discount. In 2014, Ari Lennox continued to post her music on the internet, including her self-released single Bound. The song Sweat it part of Omen's Elephant Eyes album, which was released on July 21st, 2015. J. Cole, who was part of the Dreamville crew back then was interested in having her perform on Rihanna and Rihanna-related songs. On December 28, 2008 it was announced that Rihanna had hired with Dreamville Records. The album Revenge of the Dreamers II, she appeared on the track Backseat with Cozz. She released Pho, her debut album on the 21st of October, 2016. Ari Lennox appeared in J. Cole's Change track and also opened with the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017. In 2018, she was able to appear on two of her songs along with label-mates EarthGang on Nothing but the Best and Bas on Icarus. Ari Lennox debuted her first single from Shea Butter Baby, Whipped Cream on July 16, 2018. A music video followed by a music video in September. In November, she dropped two singles titled 40 Shades of Choke and Grampa. On the 13th of November two singles, titled The No One and Pedigree. She appeared with Cole in The Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby On November 16th, and made the track available as a single by herself on her first album. A music video was released on February 20, 2019 in conjunction with the song. Within the first time, it was viewed more than 3 million views. In December 2018 the singer was a part of her From East Atlanta With Love Tour, which featured 6LACK.
