Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the media and bloggers. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that she has recorded. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sound it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not for a job or a hobby, but as an opportunity to develop. In the end, she started writing songs of her own. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. When her mother informed her that her music would not just help her gain fame, but also make others see their value within the global community and see the possibilities for them and her music, she was inspired to start performing publicly. She started playing piano when she was six years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. She didn't tell her family about her music until she reached fourteen. Aurora was not a goal. Her sole passion is writing music. For her, the music she writes is how she feels about anything.
